The following is the help for those on a windows platform
with IE
  |
- Since Windows is not including JAVA in
Windows XP, you need to download Java For Windows?
- Download JAVA
for windows

- Check for QuickTime
- QuickTime pliginhelp
- Download stand aloneQuickTime
installers

- Microsoft
Internet Explorer 4 or Netscape 4
-
To find out the version
of the web browser you are currently using, go to the Help menu
and select the About item.
-
For Internet Explorer,
you need to have the Java Virtual Machine component installed.
To check this, go to the menu item "Tools" and select "Internet
Options...". Click on the "Advanced" tab and scroll down to
see if "JIT Compiler For Virtual Machine enabled", or similiar
type statement, is ticked. If it is not, then tick it and install
the necessary component. if there are no Java options at all,
you will need to install Internet Explorer with the "Customise"
option and make sure that you select the "Microsoft Virtual
Machine" option. If it is already installed and you still only
see a grey box where the panoramas should be, reinstall the
Java Virtual Machine component. Unfortunately you need to reboot
your computer after installing it to get it to work, but there
are many other web sites that require Java too, so it really
is worth doing. (You must be an administrator to install Java
if you are using Windows NT.)
